Utah First Responder Ministry is a faith-based non-denominational Christian organization committed to serve the spiritual needs of our First Responders. We strive to do this through a variety of approaches as the Holy Spirit leads with opportunity, insight, answers to prayer and spiritual guidance.
This ministry is founded by Edward Henry, a 25 year law enforcement veteran. Ed also served over seas in Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom. Ed has been a part of many Christian churches. He believes Jesus is the Christ, our Savior and our Redeemer, and that we are here on this Earth to learn to be more like our Savior and to serve each other. He is a certified Leadership Trainer/Coach and a certified and endorsed Chaplain. His greatest joy is to serving others.
Ed is trying to follow the Lord's prompting to form this ministry. He is not a minister by profession. He is looking for help and support to start this much needed work. He knows others have been called to serve. He has seen the Lord work through him to help others. He believes this ministry is God's will.
Ed received his "Disaster Chaplain" training by the National Disaster Interfaith Network. He is trained by the America Red Cross in "Psychological First-Aid" and Law Enforcement trained in crisis response. He has also received training by the International Conference of Police Chaplains.
Ed is an endorsed First Responder (Police and Fire) Chaplain and volunteers throughout Utah.
First Responder Ministries is a registered Non-Profit organization with the State of Utah and the Federal Government.
